They packed onto a stage that was created for one day.

Celebrities and stars flocked to Ann Arbor for Jim Harbaugh's big idea: a unique spectacle to celebrate Signing Day.

Tom Brady, Derek Jeter, Desmond Howard, and a host of Michigan alumni, fans, and friends announced the newest class of Wolverines at 'Signing of the Stars.'

Brady laughed when he was asked to recall the day he signed to play for Michigan.

"Slightly different," he said, looking at the sold-out crowd at Hill Auditorium.

Jeter said he had a feeling Harbaugh was on his way back to coach his alma mater two years ago.

"I watched what was happening in San Francisco," he said. "He's back."

The Wolverines announced their newest class, and received a monumental boost when No. 1 overall recruit Rashan Gary committed halfway through the event.

Harbaugh watched the announcement moments after it happened, in the backstage area. He gave a slight fist pump, and said it was time to get back to work.

The event served as a fundraiser for the Chad Tough Foundation.

"I want to raise a lot of money," Harbaugh said.
