Dan Gilbert and Quicken Loans are behind the efforts to bring the PGA back to Detroit. The process of creating a primetime TV special recently emerged, after years of negotiating to bring a PGA Tour event to Detroit Golf Club.
Timberlake and Wahlberg recently competed in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Wahlberg spent the summer of 2013 filming Transformers 4 in the metro area.
