Arturo Mari was the personal photographer for Pope Saint John Paul II and is one of the men who spent the most time with the Pontiff.
He joined 7 Action News This Morning, along with his translator, Father John Simoneau, to discuss some of his favorite memories.
On Sunday, Arturo will be at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish on 18 Mile Rd. in Sterling Heights to talk more about the photos.
