Internship program builds students into leaders

Students are getting help to become future leaders, with a leadership internship program that teaches valuable skills. The deadline to apply has been extended to Tuesday February 2 at 3pm.  Play the video to see Alicia Smith's interview on 7 Action News at Noon.

You can now apply for the Bank of America Student Leaders Program. 5 teens from the Detroit area will be selected for a unique internship opportunity. The program involves an 8-week paid summer internship with Focus: Hope of Detroit. That is supplemented by a week-long leadership summit in Washington, DC where kids can meet other young people who are also on a mission to become future leaders.
