By design, Detroit Music Weekend takes place right in the heart of downtown's entertainment district, which is surrounded by thriving retail and restaurant scenes. The event officially kicks off June 8, but the free concerts will take place all day Saturday and Sunday, June 10th & 11th, beginning at 11 a.m.
Artists scheduled to take center stage include Aretha Franklin, Josh Gracin, Laith -Al-Saadi and Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels.
