As part of Quicken Loans Season of Winter Magic, crowd favorite “Showcase D’ Holidays” has amped up its offerings for 2015.
Starting November 20 and continuing for five weekends through December 19, every Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Detroit’s signature holiday showcase – located in Cadillac Square across from the Rink and Christmas Tree – will feature award-winning bands, top-rated and favorite restaurants like Townhouse, Gold Cash Gold, Motor City Soul Food and HopCat, Atwater craft beer, and more.
This year, new IKEA Cozy Lounges will keep guests toasty warm after an exhilarating skate or romantic carriage ride around the Park. On Fridays, guests can enjoy a new hot chocolate cocktail bar and small plate selections from Hudson Café available for purchase.
New for Saturday evenings, more than 30 restaurants will be featured in “The Taste of the D” – the expansion of the popular downtown summer and fall tasting events where a $10 admission includes sampling a wide range of small plates and dessert sweets, a commemorative holiday pint glass, and a personal holiday photo.
