Macy's is hosting a Tasty Tailgate event on Saturday, Jan. 30 at Macy's in Somerset Mall beginning at 2 p.m.
Bad Brad's BBQ is preparing some food for the event, and they joined 7 Action News This Morning to make the Ultimate Four Cheese Mac and Cheese.

Four Cheese Sauce Ingredients
- 20 oz Whole Milk
- 1 T Corn Startch
- 3 T Water
- 5 oz White Cheddar Cheese, grated
- 5 oz Yellow Cheddar Cheese, grated
- 4 oz Provolone Cheese, grated
- 4 oz Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1 T. Fresh Thyme, chopped fine
- 1/2 t. granulated onion
- 1/2 t. granulate garlic
- Salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
In a large sauce pot, bring milk to a simmer. In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water. Once dissolved add to the milk, bring to a boil. This will slightly thicken. Now start add your cheese and whisk as you go adding a little at a time. Once cheese is incorporated add all of your dry seasoning and mix well. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed. Set to the side and keep warm.
Mac and Cheese
- 1 Box elbow macaroni
- 1 container of four cheese sauce
- 2 c. cheddar cheese
Cook pasta until it is cooked through but not over cooked. Drain and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, take all of the sauce and mix only enough of the pasta until it looks like nice and creamy. Set aside. In a sauce pot, heat the mac and cheese mixture slowly until it becomes hot. Once the consistency is correct., pour into a baking dish, top with the cheddar cheese and place into a 400 degree oven until the cheese melts. Breadcrumbs could be added at this time if so desired.
