About Conquering Addiction:

All across the country, individuals, families and communities are struggling to cope with addiction. Substance misuse and abuse have devastating effects, disrupt the future plans of too many young people, and all too often, end lives prematurely and tragically.

To help raise awareness and educate our audiences on important updates in the fight against addiction, WXYZ has partnered with the Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority to run a year-long multi-platform campaign, entitled Conquering Addiction.
