"Back To The Future" type guitar up for auction for a good cause

Caring people are pitching in to raise money to help fight Parkinson's Disease. Team Fox Detroit is holding it's 2nd Annual Gala to benefit The Michael J. Fox foundation for Parkinson's research.  

It's happening Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit. Click the video link for JoAnne Purtan's interview on 7 Action News at Noon.

 

Last year the inaugural event raised over $118,000 - 100% of which went directly to fund research for a cure. This year, The group will host an  informational Research Salon (available to ticketholders) from 10am12pm to discuss the next-generation of treatments for Parkinson’s disease.  

 

Cocktails begin at 6pm, followed by a plated dinner and entertainment by Nuclassica, full bar, and dancing the night away to The Blue Water Kings Band.

 

Tickets are $250, VIP tickets $500, which enters you to win a custom piece of jewelry valued at $5,000.
