Detroit celebrities are on a mission to help homeless men, women and children. "Dancing with the Detroit Stars" kicks off November 19th from 7pm-Midnight at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. Watch the video player for JoAnne Purtan's interview on 7 Action News at Noon.
Proceeds from the event will benefit homeless men, women, and children who receive care and assistance each year at South Oakland Shelter. Reservations for tickets and tables are available at www.southoaklandshelter.org.
