A warm-weather hit for families across metro Detroit is opening for 2016 on Friday.
Greenfield Village in Dearborn opened its gates at 9:30 a.m. Friday and will stay open until 5 p.m. every day of the week until Oct. 30.
With more than 80 acres, the village shows off 300 years of American life and features seven historic districts.
