Jazz greats play at "Cabin Fever" festival in Dearborn

Jazz great Alexander Zonjic is getting ready for the third annual Cabin Fever Jazz Festival in Dearborn. It's set for Saturday March 11th at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. Click the video play to see Zonjic play the flute and discuss the event on 7 Action News at Noon.

It's an all-day music festival set for Saturday from 1pm to 9pm.  The event features jazz stars from across the country including sax virtuoso Richard Elliot formerly of The Tower of Power, and renowned guitarist Peter White who will play as a special guest with nationally recognized flutist Alexander Zonjic and his band.

Additional jazz stars headlining the line-up are saxophonist David McMurray with singer Gloria Ridgeway, pianist Demetrius Nabors and pianist/singer duo Charles and Gwen Scales.

The all-day event will take place at the Hubbard Ballroom of The Ford Community and Performing Arts Center.

The Ford Community and Performing Arts Center is located at 15801 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn 48126

Tickets are only $30 and you should bring your own lawn chair. Preferred seats are $45 with seats provided in front of the stage. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
