Local Italian restaurant hosting benefit for victims of Amatrice, Italy earthquake

A local restaurant is holding a benefit for the victims of the Amatrice, Italy earthquake next week.

It's happening at The Silver Spoon in Rochester Hills on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m.

A $50 cover charge will be donated to a relief fund set up to help survivors of the earthquake. All food is included and there will be a cash bar.

The 4.1 magnitude quake struck in the end of August, killing nearly 300 people and displacing even more families.
