Register now for Michigan Women's Entrepreneur conference, set for March 15th in Troy

Registration is now open for the "Women's Entrepreneur-YOU" conference. It's set for March 15th in Troy, and it's designed to help women become successful business owners. Click the video player for JoAnne Purtan's interview on 7 Action News at Noon.

The conference is presented by Inforum, Michigan Women's Foundation, and Walsh College, with the support of Fifth Third Bank. It  will held Wednesday, March 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Troy campus, 3838 Livernois Rd., Troy.  JoAnne Purtan will be there to kick off the event.

You'll get to take part in workshops presented by leading business practitioners and successful entrepreneurs. Their goal is to help you understand what resources are required to launch, manage, and grow  businesses. 

"At Entrepreneur-YOU, women entrepreneurs will find the guidance and support they need to elevate their aspirations into reality," said Stephanie Bergeron, president and CEO, Walsh College. "This event is a great way to network with like-minded businesswomen. It is a day dedicated to inspiration and education."

The panelists are all experts in areas including finance, accounting, legal services, marketing, social and traditional media, and other important business practices.
