Fans of Tyler Perry got a big treat in Royal Oak on Wednesday night.
The actor and filmmaker debuted his new movie at the Emagine Theatre.
"The people of Detroit, they're real. They tell you the truth," Perry explained.
The entertainment mogul is taking his new move, 'Boo! A Madea Halloween,' to multiple cities around the country. Detroit joined the list right away.
"Detroit has always been good to me," Perry said. "From all the years at the Fisher or the Fox Theatre, playing the live shows, I just wanted to give back."
