(WXYZ) — Statewide gas prices are up by 6 cents compared to last week, AAA Michigan reports.
Michigan drivers are paying an average of $2.47 per gallon for regular unleaded. The price is 4 cents more than this time last month and 3 cents more than this time last year.
Motorists are paying an average of $37 for a full 15-gallon tank.
"If these trends continue, motorists are likely to continue seeing prices fluctuate as the winter driving season nears its end," AAA spokesperson Adrienne Woodland said.
Compared to last week, metro Detroit's average daily gas price increased to $2.46 per gallon.
