AAA Michigan: Statewide gas prices up by 5 cents

(WXYZ) — Gas prices in Michigan are up 5 cents compared to last week, AAA Michigan reports.

Drivers are now paying an average of $2.45 per gallon for regular unleaded. The price is 12 cents less than this time last month, AAA says.

Motorists are paying an average of $37 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline.

The most expensive gas price averages were found in: Most expensive gas price averages: Ann Arbor ($2.48), Lansing ($2.47) and Jackson ($2.47.) The least expensive were found in: Traverse City ($2.32), Benton Harbor ($2.41) and Marquette ($2.44.)
