New search efforts in Collin Rose murder case

The Detroit Police Department is still working to track down the person responsible for killing Wayne State University Police Officer Collin Rose.

Members of the department's K-9 Unit will go door-to-door today passing out updated flyers.

The new flyers are printed in Spanish.

Anyone who would like to help is welcome. Organizers will gather at Detroit Police Headquarters at noon.

Officer Rose died in the line of duty in November.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of $22,500 for information that leads to an arrest in the case. The previous reward supported by Detroit Police along with Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms was $82,500, for a total reward of $105,000.
