Mark Phelan joined us Tuesday during our live webcast from the North American International Auto Show. The auto critic from the Detroit Free Press says there is a lot worth looking at on the show floor.

"I think it may be a little bit underrated," he said of the 2016 Detroit auto show. "I think it's a really solid show."

What does the Free Press auto critic really love this year?

"The Buick Avista is terrific," he told 7 Action News anchor Stephen Clark. "Hands down, the best looking thing on the floor," Phelan said of the concept car introduced by Buick.

Phelan says this is the year of the design concept at the North American International Auto Show.

"Between the Buick and the Acura Precision Concept they just showed, and the new Lexus LC 500 coupe, we've got several beautiful cars that are all going to have styling elements that will show up on production cars real soon," Phelan believes.
