Cadillac owners who use the iOS myCadillac mobile app, will now be able to integrate that with their Apple Watches.
The app will be able to sync with the watch and allow owners to be able to
- locate their vehicle
- lock and unlock doors
- cancel and activate lights and horn
- get directions to vehicle
- remote start and stop
John McFarland, director of Global Digital Experience commented saying, “the Apple Watch integration is another example of the seamless integration of technology Apple aficionados have come to expect from the Cadillac brand.”
The myCadillac app was first introduced in 2010, and today is available for every vehicle model produced since 2011. In 2017 usage of the app has increased nearly 50%.
