The United Auto Workers have announced that they have reached a tentative agreement with Fiat Chrysler.
The announcement came shortly before UAW President Dennis Williams and Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne held a press conference to address the agreement.
No details have been released. However, Marchionne did say the two-tiered pay structure will "go away over time." However, he later said the contract dealt with the two tiered system over time, but would not give details.
UAW officials say they will not address the details until union leadership have a chance to go over them. However, Williams did say, "I think you have every right to assume" that the deal is a four year contract.
