Fat Wallet says Home Depot, Lowes, and Sears have their best prices on paints and stains, hardware, and building materials that you need to finish those jobs before summer. There are also discounts of up to 50 percent off on top power tool brands like Craftsman and Black and Decker.
There are also savings this month on dish and cookware at Macy’s, Bed bath and beyond, and other department stores. The report also says you'll find some of the best savings of the year during June Semi-Annual sales at stores like Victoria's Secret, Lane Bryant and Saks 5th Avenue.
The reports also says to expect sites like Groupon and Living Social to offer significant savings for summer activities from boat rides and sky diving to restaurants and traveling.
If you need some patio accessories, party decorations, air conditioners and more, Fat Wallet says to head to the big box stores for the early 4th of July sales.
