Kellogg issues recall covering a number of brands over peanut residue

Kellogg is recalling many of their brands because they may contain an undeclared peanut residue.

The recall applies to certain varieties of their Mother's, Keebler, Kellogg's and Special K brownies and their Murray and Famous Amos snacks and cookies.

The recall follows a recall from Grain Craft of their wheat flower because it could contain low levels of peanut residue.

Consumers with severe peanut allergies should avoid the recalled products. However, the FDA does not believe the peanut levels are high enough to adversely affect the vast majority of consumers with peanut allergies.

Kellogg's has posted the following graphic online to illustrate the recalled products (Click on the picture to blow it up):

Anyone with the recalled products should throw them out and contact the company for a full refund.

Consumers can do so by calling 1-800-962-1413, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET or by visiting https://www.kelloggs.com/en_US/contact-us.html.
