DETROIT, MI, January 6, 2016 - Team Wellness Center
is inviting companies, agencies and individuals to participate in a Job Fair that will offer an array of employment opportunities for men and women who have a broad range of educational levels and work experience.
The Job Fair will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Team Wellness Center, 2925 Russell Street in Eastern Market, Detroit, MI 48207. It's located across from Shed 5. Free parking is available, and a complimentary lunch will be served to employers.
"Our first Job Fair on October 23rd was a great success," says Team Wellness Center President Pamela Lamb. "More than 200 job-seekers and 17 recruiters from companies and agencies came together, and a good number of people were hired as a result. That's why we're hosting another Job Fair in January, when many people resolve to find new employment for a better New Year."
The Job Fair will be hosted by Team Wellness Center's Pathways Program, which provides Supportive Employment and Supportive Housing services. Pathways helps men and women secure employment and housing, with the help of long-term support teams that work with them to maintain their jobs and homes. In addition, Team's job training programs - such as the Master Electrician's Certification class - help Members gain skills for successful careers.
For the Job Fair, employment recruiters are welcome to participate from a diverse array of companies and organizations that have positions to fill immediately. Team Wellness Center also invites employers who are felony-friendly and agreeable to hiring people who have been treated for mental illness and addiction recovery, and who have recently been released from prison.
