26 Early Childhood Educators Needed in Wayne Co!

Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency (Wayne Metro) Project High Five is looking to bring on 26 dedicated, qualified teachers, teacher assistants and parent educators to join the Wayne Metro Head Start team at sites across Wayne County. Wayne Metro is hosting a hiring fair on Tuesday, July 18th from 12pm – 6pm in Detroit. The hiring fair will take place at Wayne Metro’s corporate headquarters in the Lakeshore Building located at 7310 Woodward Ave, 1st Floor, Detroit MI 48202.

Qualified applicants will be interviewed on the spot. To apply to be a part of the Wayne Metro Head Start team, you must:

· Have experience working with young children and families

· Have and maintain a current child development associate credential (CDA); or be currently enrolled in a child development associate (CDA) program to be completed within two years; or

· Be currently enrolled in a program leading to an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and have successfully completed 12 credit hours in the area of Early Childhood Education; or

· Be currently enrolled in a program leading to an baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education and have successfully completed 12 credit hours in the area of Early Childhood Education
