Authorities are investigating a double shooting that occurred in Detroit Thursday evening.
Police say the two victims were standing outside of a home in the 10000 block of Sterritt St. on Detroit's east side.
The suspect, a black man, approached the two victims and opened fire. One victim began to run, then the suspect followed and shot him at close range in the back of the head, killing him. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.
The victim who was shot as the suspect first approached was taken to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition with two gunshot wounds to the stomach.
Police are looking for a black man sho is about 5-feet, 2-inches tall, slim build. He was seen wearing black shorts and armed with an unknown type of handgun.
