1 dead, 1 hospitalized following shooting in Inkster

INKSTER, Mich. (WXYZ) — One man has died following a shooting in Inkster on Thursday.

On Nov. 12 around 9:50 p.m., troopers responded to the 29000 block of Cherry Hill in the city of Inkster for a reported shooting. Police say preliminary information revealed that two gunshot victims both self-transported to Garden City Hospital.

One of the men brought into the hospital overnight later died from his injuries.

According to MSP, it appears both men are related to the robbery of the CPL holder, though details remain unclear at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
