Detroit police are investigating after a man was shot and killed on the city's west side early Friday morning.
Police say the shooting happened around 3:35 a.m. near Tyler and Lauder.
According to police, someone knocked at the door of the victim's brother and told him that his brother was being shot at. After driving around, the man found his 50-year-old brother in the street with a gunshot wound to the head.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was later pronounced dead.
