Thousands of people will descend upon Fowlerville this Saturday, Dec. 2 to celebrate the holidays. For its 10th year, the event is expected to be bigger and better than ever before.
At 6 p.m., more than 41 hot air balloonists will be on hand to parade down Grand River and fill the night sky with a glow that can be seen for miles.
In addition to the parade, there will be a handful of family-friendly activities like a pet parade, pictures with Santa Claus, treat decorating, story time, live reindeer, Santa's workshop, face painting, and Dashing Through the Snow 5K.
This year, the event is expected to top 15,000 people, with some traveling from as far as Grand Rapids and Frankenmuth.
