FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) — The 10th annual Pride Festival in Ferndale has been rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26 amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The festival was originally scheduled for May 30.
The festival will continue in the fall with extra health precautions, organizers said Wednesday.
"Additional hand-sanitizing stations have been added to the footprint," organizers said in a statement. "If September rolls around and we still are under a “stay at home” situation - we hope that is unlikely - we will be in touch about the impact to Ferndale Pride."
Updates about the event will be available on the Ferndale Pride Facebook page here.
