UPDATE: Officials now say eastbound and westbound 14 Mile will be closed due to an emergency gas line repair. The road is expected to re-open by Nov. 28.
Eastbound 14 Mile Road between Telegraph and Lahser roads on the Bingham Farms and Bloomfield Township border will be closed Wednesday for an emergency gas line repair.
The detour route during the closure will be Telegraph Road to Maple Road to Lahser Road and back to 14 Mile, officials say.
Westbound 14 Mile will remain open.
The repair is expected to be completed by the end of November.
