DETROIT (WXYZ) — UPDATE: The teen has been found safe, according to the boy's mother.

Detroit police are searching for a missing 14-year-old boy who was headed to his friend's home on Friday, but never arrived.
According to a release, Kenneth Clark was last seen by his mother on Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at their home in the 2500 block of Sturtevant St.
Clark told his mother that he would be going to a friend's home. When his mother checked she found out that he had never arrived.
This is the first time Clark has went missing.
He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and black and gold shoes. He's 4 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 100 pounds and has a dark complexion.
