ANTRIM COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — Michigan State Police say they were able to locate a missing 14-year-old girl from Texas in Antrim County.
According to police, detectives from Lubbock, Texas found that 14-year-old Mattie Worley was possibly enticed and taken out of state. The Lubbock Police Department requested help from the FBI, and detectives were able to determine the teen was possibly in Alden, Michigan.
According to MSP, troopers, the FBI, U.S. Attorney's Office and Antrim County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant Sunday and located Worley inside the home with an adult man.
Worley was turned over to Child Protective Services and then transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation.
The man is currently behind held by police in Michigan.
Police plan to reunite Worley with her parents.
