DETROIT (WXYZ) — Police are investigating a fatal shooting on Detroit's east side overnight.
A witness at the scene told our 7 Action News crew she was with the 17-year-old victim when they attended a nearby park in the area of Runyon and Greiner for a vigil Tuesday night.
They walked back to their car, and that's when someone started shooting, according to the witness.
