Pittsfield Township police are investigating after a 19-year-old was found shot and killed inside a car on Sunday night.
According to police, they were dispatched to the 2400 block of Dalton Ave. around 7:27 p.m. That's near US-23 and Washtenaw Ave.
When they arrived, they found the driver slumped over and unresponsive. Despite live saving efforts from officers, paramedics and firefighters, the 19-year-old was pronounced dead.
Police say he suffered a gunshot wound from an incident that happened in the 2200 block of Glencoe Hills, which is just across the street.
