The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office says a 19-year-old was killed by a possible drunk driver after stopping at the intersection of Beemis and Moon in Saline Sunday afternoon.
A driver reportedly ran a stop light at the intersection and crashed into the teen's vehicle.
The sheriff's office is urging drivers to be defensive. In this case, we're told the victim was not at fault.
Right now, police have not released the victim’s name.
As far as the other driver, the sheriff’s department says he had an out of state I.D. but was currently living nearby.
Investigators say that driver is currently behind bars as alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
