2 injured after several shots fired into Detroit home on Christmas Day

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating after to women were injured when a gunshots were fired into a home in the 14800 block of Terry in Detroit on Dec. 25.

According to a preliminary investigation, a white older model SUV pulled in front of the home and fired several shots into the residence, which entered the living room, striking the two victims.

There were four witnesses inside the home at the time of the shooting. A 30-year-old woman was shot in the forearm, and a 53-year-old woman sustained a gunshot wound to her body. Both are listed in temporary serious condition at a local hospital.

Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
