(WXYZ) — Twenty boaters are recovering after a scare during Jobbie Nooner.
Storms rolled through Lake St. Clair, violently rocking the boats over the weekend. Some of the boats were damaged as a result.
The U.S. Coast Guard says one person broke their arm when they were pinned between two boats. Some others had hypothermia, and another had an asthma attack.
The beach was reportedly flooded, leaving a lot of people stranded during the event. Overall, the Coast Guard says 42 people in the water were recovered, 48 boats were assisted and 43 lives were assisted.
