Race fans, mark your calendars.
Tickets are on sale now for the 2017 Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix.
The annual event which kicks off summer fun in the city will run June 2 through June 4 on Belle Isle. This year, the Grand Prix will once again feature the only doubleheader on the Verizon IndyCar Series.
People can buy tickets for the weekend at www.DetroitGP.com/tickets or by calling 866-464-PRIX (7749.) The Grand Prix will be free to explore on Friday, June 2. Single-day race tickets are available starting at $40 with weekend passes available for $75.
Children 12 and under can get in free with an adult.
