A 23-year-old man is dead after a shooting inside of a gas station on Detroit's west side.
Police tell us it appears it may have been a shootout. It happened just before midnight Monday night at the BP gas station at the corner of Schoolcraft and Outer Drive.
The shooting victim died in the parking lot of the gas station..
A black Ford Explorer was found at the scene with a lot of back end damage. Neighbors who witnessed the shooting say someone crashed into the back of that vehicle during the shootout.
