A 24-year-old woman was killed in a single vehicle rollover accident in Farmington Hills, police say.
Around 3:40 a.m. on Aug. 26, Farmington Hills police and paramedics responded to the accident in the area of Shiawassee Road and Inkster Road.
Officers discovered a Jeep Cherokee that rolled over and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. Police say the vehicle crashed into a large light pole and an electrical box.
The driver was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills where she died a short time later.
Officials say speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call the Farmington Hills Police Department at 248-871-2610.
