The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was found in a Rochester Hills park pond on Thursday night.
According to the sheriff's office, the 27-year-old Royal Oak man was found around 7:22 p.m. Thursday at Thelma Spencer Park. That's off of John R. just north of M-59.
Deputies say a lifeguard found the man in about 10 feet of water. He was transported to Beaumont Hospital and pronounced dead.
