Detroit police say a woman was killed in a car crash on Detroit's east side Monday morning.
It happened near the corner of Harper and Bishop near I-94 and Whittier.
Police say the 27-year old woman was trying to go around another vehicle when she hit a light pole.
Crews worked to get her out of the car, but she died at the hospital.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
