Huron Township police have arrested three men for allegedly entering a woman's home and holding one resident of that home at gunpoint.
The alleged felonious assault occurred in a mobile home community.
On Sunday, Aug. 19 at 4:37 a.m., police responded to a home in the 23500 block of Manor Drive. The resident reported that the men entered her residence and held one of the home's occupants at gunpoint. No shots were fired, police say, and the suspects eventually fled.
Within minutes, the suspects' vehicle was found near the intersection of Judd and Clark Roads. One weapon was recovered and three men were then taken into custody. Those suspects include a 27-year-old man from St. Clair Shores, a 28-year-old man from Chesterfield and a 27-year-old man from Romeo. They are all being held in Huron Township Jail pending possible charges.
Police add that the incident was not random, and that one of the suspects knew one of the residents of the home.
Additional information on this case will be released at a later time due to the ongoing investigation, police say.
