(WXYZ) — Three Cedar Point employees have reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
The Sandusky Register said a Cedar Point spokesman confirmed Wednesday that three employees tested positive.
The park opened last week for a shortened season with new safety precautions. Those include reservations for guests, face masks required and daily health screenings for employees.
According to the spokesperson, the affected employees were screened prior to the park opening and before reporting to their work locations.
Erie County health commissioner Pete Schade told the Sandusky Register that the park was doing great following CDC, state and local health guidelines.
