PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Oakland County Sheriff's Department is investigating a triple shooting that injured three children ages of 10 months, 7 and 11 years old.

Police say a drive-by shooting happened Saturday around 10:24 p.m. in the 1100 block of Dudley. All of the children are in stable condition.

There were several children inside the home at the time of the shooting. Police say the homeowners were watching their grandchildren as well as their two children when shots rang out from a drive-by shooter.

The 11-year-old was shot in the hip, the 10-month old was shot in the buttocks and a 7-year-old was shot in the torso, police say. Two other children at the home, a 9 and 12-year-old, were not injured. The 45-year-old and 53-year-old adults were not injured either.

The adults told police they have no idea who would have targeted their home. The father of the 10-month-old also arrived on scene and told police that he also doesn't know who would have done this.

Circumstances surrounding the shooting are still being investigated, police say. No suspects are in custody at this time, but a photo of the suspect's vehicle, which is believed to be a Chrysler 300, has been released.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. If you have information on this shooting, contact the Oakland County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak-Up.
