DETROIT (WXYZ) — Three people are in critical condition after an SUV crashed into a building on Detroit's east side.
The crash occurred Sunday night on Mound near east 8 Mile Road.
Police say the 75-year-old driver suffered a medical emergency and passed away.
Investigators say the SUV crossed over a lane, hit a utility pole and then crashed into a building under construction.
