3 injured, 1 dead in Flint Township diner shooting

FLINT TWP. (WXYZ) — A 25-year-old man is in police custody following a deadly shooting at a diner in Flint Township early Sunday.

The shooting happened around 4 a.m. at the Mega Classic Diner, 4462 Corunna Road.

Police say a 26-year-old man was killed. The other three victims, who sustained injuries but are in stable condition at a local hospital, include: a 31-year-old man, a 25-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman.

The deadly shooting stemmed from an altercation, police say. What led to the altercation is still being investigated.

The 25-year-old suspect is now at the Genesee County Jail as prosecutors review charges.
