MT. PLEASANT, Mich. (WXYZ) — A suspect has been arrested after three people were stabbed a bar near Central Michigan University, police say.
The stabbing happened around midnight at Wayside Central Bar, 2000 S. Mission St.
There was an isolated off-campus incident tonight at Wayside Central. Three victims have been reported with unspecified injuries.

A suspect has been identified detained. There is no longer an ongoing threat to the public. The community is safe.
A fight at the bar led to the stabbing. Witness statements and video footage led police to identify and arrest the suspect.
Police say this was an isolated incident and there was no safety concern to the public. The investigation is ongoing. The status of the victims' injuries will be provided as information is made available, police say.
