KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — Three police officers were shot in Kalamazoo County Sunday evening, WXMI reports.
WXMI says the shooting occurred during a home invasion involving an armed suspect.
When officers arrived at the scene, there were gunshots heard from the residence. WXMI says officers then entered the residence where three of them were shot.
They were all taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. WXMI says one homeowner at the residence is deceased.
The suspect is in custody.
